We are thrilled to welcome Buku Khamis from the Western Bulldogs as our special guest speaker. Buku’s story, from South Sudan to Footscray, is one of incredible resilience, strength and community.

Born in South Sudan and raised in a Kenyan refugee camp, Buku arrived in Australia at just six years old. He truly embodies the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Now an AFL Rising Star, Buku will sit down with our very own Hayden Newham to share his inspiring journey from humble beginnings to the elite level of football, and what continues to drive him both on and off the field.

We will also hear from MFNC Senior Coach Josh Jewell and Captain Toby Plant, who will reflect on the season so far and the road ahead to the finals. Club President Jason Zealley will deliver a special address, share a brief history of MFNC…
